WI GOP legislators want more handguns out there, and faster

With little to do these days because their lead sled dog has run off to other states, Wisconsin Assembly Republicans filled a little time by revoking - - without any known need - - the 48-hour cooling off period before a handgun buyer can take possession of the firearm.

Speeding up the flow of concealable guns into neighborhoods, homes, waistbands, purses and vehicle glove boxes is hardly in the public interest.

Actually the dumb Senator who wrote the bill thinks the waiting period was just for back ground checks and does not think a cooling off period makes any difference. If he didn't poll every citizen in the state, how would he know who might have rushed out and bought a gun while angry and would have used it if not for the cooling off period. He does not know and is only guessing. Did he research past gun crimes (before the law) to find out how many rushed out and bought a gun and then killed or injured some one and ended up regretting making that decision? No, I am sure he did not because that was the reason for the cooling off period to begin with and there was evidence to back it up when that bill was passed.

There is one more thing the "dumb senators" didn't consider..........

So a very angry individual intent on getting even rushes to the nearest gun shop and buys a gun. No wait! Buys ammo. No wait! Rage in their mind. Getting even killing the person they hate at that moment of rage. With gun and ammo in hand and a deranged mission in mind they jump in their car and RUSH to get revenge. What could possible go wrong.......

A local cop on routine patrol see the speeding vehicle and decided to do a traffic stop. Little does this cop know that a load gun in the hands of a deranged individual who is not about to be deterred from their mission is in the drivers seat. How many more cops are going to be put in danger because of this NO WAIT period?

Maybe the cops training will save his life but someone is likely to die before this act of rage is played out.
