GOP now a subsidiary to Koch brothers party

Even the Koch's won't live forever. In view of the fact that it's going to take a miracle to overturn Citizen's United, that's the only hope I have right now of getting the money out of politics. That all of those old billionaires will eventually die and there will be no one to take their place.

Unfortunately the foundations they leave their fortunes to will live forever, and will become even more ideologically rigid, inhumane and out of step with the broad base of people whose interests they will claim to serve. Our only hope is that money will eventually corrupt leaders and minions chosen for their ideological purity, or that the economy will shift and whatever business holdings are keeping the kitty full-to-overflowing now will dry to a measly trickle. Or perhaps Congress will wise up and start taxing these "charitable" political influence marketeers as they deserve, though it would really surprise me if that happened.
