Our only hope is that money will eventually corrupt leaders and minions chosen for their ideological purity, or that the economy will shift and whatever business holdings are keeping the kitty full-to-overflowing now will dry to a measly trickle. Or perhaps Congress will wise up and start taxing these "charitable" political influence marketeers as they deserve, though it would really surprise me if that happened.
