GTac mining shocked by water, wetlands in Bad River watershed

I can understand the surprise.
Protect tribal wild rice beds from Open-pit mining
Water and wetlands discovered in Bad River watershed
You just don't expect to find water, bogs, marshes, streams, lakes and rivers in a pristine watershed close to wild-rice growing estuaries at the edge of Lake Superior.

I think the company expected its surveyors to find a collection of sheds in the watershed, but certainly not water.
