Foxconn criticism exposing Walker ineptitude

The New York Times sums up many of the questions which keep echoing across the board from WI GOP State Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald, to the Chicago Sun-Times, to an Indiana business professor's 'awful/worst-deal ever' analysis to my own blog and particularly at this continually-updated archive.

But if you only have time to absorb and share one item, make sure it's the must-read summary by Urban Milwaukee's Bruce Murphy which catalogues the dangers in Walker's unprecedented giveaway in multiple paragraphs which begin with "But the deal offers much more...

So the real question is, how in the heck do we make our voices heard. Up here in Northern Wisconsin, other than a few Walker worshippers, support for the Conn Job is zero. Someone somewhere has to rally the troops. Our senator, a Dem, is certainly against this but she has no voice. The morons other districts have elected have shut out slightly over 50 percent of the state. The Mil JS sounds like they are against it, the State Journal is not keen on it. This is the first time in the Walker "Dumbass" regime that the two major newspapers have not been completely kissing his butt. If the Dems and independents play the cards right, we can dump the idiot along with Robin Vos and many others. Some of the Dem clowns who support this need to be immediately primaried by someone with a brain.

A state that thought a teacher working their ass off making less than 40,000 a year should have their benefits cut; yet a nonAmerican company should have their employees' wages paid by my tax dollars????? If this deal passes I plan to move my family out of this communist crap hole. What makes our government different than China's? China values education!

Time is running out, how do we fight this crap? Or do we just wait for Trump to ship off a few nuclear missiles and think it won't matter????

It surprises me that no newspapers up north have commented on FoxConn. Northern WI residents are just as liable for the deal as SE Wisconsinites who at least have a chance of seeing some benefit from the $3 billion being spent on low wage jobs. Out-state communities are going to be liable for 40% of improved infra structure in whatever community the plant is located. If I lived up anywhere but SE WI I would be screaming to my representatives about spending my money when I won't see a dime of benefit. Roads are crumbling, schools are closing. What is wrong with the people of this state?

I live in the north as well and like the GTAC mine they have hearings that are rigged and they don't listen.

What's interesting is that the Journal-Sentinel was cheerleading this to a disgusting level, but,now that the reality has set in on how much of a giveaway the Fox-con is, and how much people hate it, they are backing off.

What can you do? Use your 715 area code to leave messages with GOP reps from the 715. Especially that jackhole Tom Tiffany, who is on Joint Finance
