The Black Hawk Bridge crossing the Mississippi River between Lansing, Iowa, and southwestern Wisconsin is closed after high water levels washed out part of the highway and led to a fatal accident.

Sure does look like NW Wisconsin 20 miles from Ashland after a deluge last August. 

Anyone see a pattern, or just coincidence?

Anyone see a connection to the lack of road maintenance statewide?

Second-worst in the nation, with the decline marking Walker's tenure.

Maybe #1 for washouts?
