Walker kills 70-mile-Amtrak line, has state buy 70-mile freight line
So no federally-financed passenger rail construction from Madison-to-Milwaukee and its multiple job-creating benefits, but a new socialized freight rail state purchase?

Some more history with a bearing on this purchase -- a story that includes both the Koch brothers and a criminal conviction from the first John Doe investigation:

Gotta move that frack sand for the Koch brothers maximum profit.
One step forward and two steps back......Walker's economic policies. When he doesn't get it right the first time he just does a "do over" and bills the taxpayers for his stupidity
Better investment than amtrak
This would have been part if the "Amtrak money", you dope. Passenger rail and freight rail frequently nude the same track, and both would have benefitted from the upgrades. And at a lower cost to Wisconsib taxpayer.
People like you and Scott Walker are too simple-minded to be in charge of things. And we all are paying the price for your foolishness.
Keep an eye on this segment of rail. How long before it gets sold on a no-bid or secretly negotiated contract?
