Robin Vos announces state aid loyalty test, spelled G.O.P.

The GOP Assembly Speaker and sage of the rural Racine County Village of Rochester conjures up an objection to public financing for a new NBA arena in downtown Milwaukee: the owners are Democrats.

So the state is closed to businesses run by Democrats, even to the largest private investors to come in and join local business leaders in recent Milwaukee history (or perhaps ever)  - - while...

*  A Madison television station disclosed that Walker's WEDC has showered money on GOP donors;

*  A mining law was written with and for a mining firm that shoveled a secret $700,000 to Scott Walker's recall campaign;

*  Walker and his spouse have multiple several state websites.

*  Herb Kohler, a $40,000 Walker donor, got a meeting with Walker about access through an adjoining state park to begin planning and well-drilling for a new Lake Michigan golf course, etc. et al.

So policy aside, how is Vos' threat of no-pay/no-play even legal?

WHO said money can't buy everything?

I thought Wisconsin was "open for business."

You misread that -- Wisconsin is "GOPen for business"; no Dems need bother to apply.

It's not spelled "GOP", it's spelled "EFF YOU, PAY ME!"

Enough of the pussyfooting and perfecting of the case, it's well past time to drop the bomb of John Doe on these bagmen

How does Popcorn Boy even know the new owners are Dems?

Can you say pay to play?

You're so adorable. No one in this state understands 'legal' as anything more than the most recent ruling by a hand-picked Waukesha County judge.
And 'Wisconsin - GOPen for Business" needs to become a hashtag or something.

I'm sure our newly-elected Attorney General will be all over this...oh wait, never mind. He'll be as useless as Van Hollen.

Want economic development in Wisconsin? Have Vos reduce the Vig.
