After big US-China climate change deal, update alert about WI DNR page!

Readers of this blog know that I have frequently noted (a sample) the dearth of news and scientific updates to the climate change web pages on the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources website since Scott Walker was elected and put the 'chamber of commerce mentality" in charge there.

Yet 24 hours after the major breakthrough announced in China yesterday by President Obama on climate change greenhouse gas discharges which the two nations agreed to substantially control, I was pleased to get an email summarizing recent changes to a primary DNR web page - - the page that begins " Earth´s climate is changing. Human activities that increase heat–trapping ("green house") gases are the main cause.


About time, I thought, since the main web page hasn't been updated since June 12, 2012  - - until I read the details - - so stand down, everybody. Here are the recent changes:
