Paul Fanlund's post-election advice much appreciated

The editor of the Madison Capital Times has the correct starting point:

...a heartfelt expression of thanks to Mary Burke, whose long resume of selflessness has been strongly bolstered by the stirring, disciplined campaign she just waged. As Wisconsin’s political culture becomes more dominated by those who sit on the proverbial sidelines and take potshots, Burke stepped into the arena, and performed over this past year with an energy, grace and dignity that others would do well to emulate.
