WI DNR says Cathy Stepp is "experienced" deer hunter

My eye was drawn to this description about Wisconsin DNR Secretary Cathy Stepp on a DNR webpage about the "leadership team."
She is an accomplished deer hunter, musky fisher and is still seeking to harvest her first turkey.
The page was last updated 13 months ago, and it's possible I've missed something, but as far as I know, this 2011 photo - -
Wisconsin DNR Secretary Cathy Stepp proudly shows off her first deer, taken opening weekend last year. In the upcoming TV Special "Deer Hunt Wisconsin 2012, Stepp urges male hunters to take more girls and women hunting. "The secret's out," she says. "Hunting is a lot of fun, so don't keep it to yourselves." photo courtesy of Wisconsin DNR
- - is the only one that the DNR sent around to media about Stepp's deer-killing prowess - - about which I commend this short newspaper story about, and further suggest reading the comments from actual experienced hunters, and others:
She shot a doe, and said afterward that her experience was "exciting and exhilarating." However, she also admitted she had a difficult time making eye contact with her prey before pulling the trigger.
Here's a representative comment sample:
Did someone wipe the milk off that poor little baby's lips before the picture?
That is not something to brag about she should be promoting sportsmanship not shooting an animal that young.

Bimbo. Bambi-killer. Butterfly-hater.

Still seeking her first turkey? Given her preferences for killing babies, maybe she should just crack an egg and call it a day.
