Ohio Water Undrinkable; Wisconsin Tolerates Possible Culprit

(Updated, Monday, 12:10 a.m.] While Toledo, Ohio sorts out its water crisis - - the cause is believed to be toxin in algae fed by phosphorus dumping - - it's worth remembering that just a few months ago year the Wisconsin Legislature greatly weakened state law at the behest of the WMC and gave phosphorus-dumping industries a fresh 20 years to cut it out.

These days we Walker and his legislative/corporate pals are pretty casual about water in Wisconsin.

Has anyone enjoyed the feces-tainted water at the rest stop off of I94 outside of lake mills?

Brought to you by the scat-lovin' kleefisch's, phosphates, heavy metals, and other industrial toxins may taste great, but nothing says, "mmmmmm.... good" like a cold and refreshing slurp of water that has excrement from farm run-off in it.
