ObamaCare Enrollment Spiking; Bring On Stories About Lives Saved

It won't take long for media to run with stories from among the two-million-and-growing new enrollees' whose lives were saved by medical exams, tests or procedures that were unavailable pre-ObamaCare because of pre-existing condition barriers or excessive costs.

Having feasted on coverage of the healthcare.gov rollout problems, and allowed critics to yammer on about all the program's difficulties, a shift in coverage is appropriate and predictable.

I'm interested in knowing;
#1 What is the percentage of applicants whom actually purchased insurance in their checkout cart?
#2 How many of the registrants are registered for Medicare Part B?
#3 How many registrants are under age 30?
To determine if the AHCA is going as planned, we need more specific information from the HHS Department.

60% of the target, and, the administration won't report how many of these are the "young invincible" group they needed to keep rates low. It'll be cheaper to go to the ER when you get sick and pay the tax every year (which will likely be "paid" in the form of a reduced tax credit).

You will be paying that cost in higher insurance rates, you and your employer. Just like before the ACA.

Of course, the point of the ACA isn't eliminating ER costs. It's expanding the insurance pool to cover many Americans who weren't covered before. Which is what has the Republicans so panicked.

60% of the target,

what target? the one that is estimated for the first year? Because that is not the same as the initial enrollment.

Thank god you have goalposts with handy wheels.
