Idaho Trumps Wisconsin's Wolf-Killing Blood Lust

Bad enough that Wisconsin this year allowed the legal, over-quota killing of 257 wolves - - while also knowing that scores more wolves will be killed by cold temperatures, poachers and vehicles, as past data have shown - - but the State of Idaho wins the Blood Lust Award:

A federal judge Friday allowed a wolf- and coyote-shooting derby to proceed on public land in Idaho this weekend, ruling its organizers aren’t required to get a special permit from the U.S. Forest Service.
Prizes go to the shooters who kill the biggest wolf and the most females.

Local boosters report the motels are full, so everything is in balance.
