Business Editor Notes Various Rail Pressures On Walker

Steve Jagler's piece at OnMilwaukee.com is a good read.

And I agree with Jagler that if Walker does a flip on rail, talk radio hosts would do 50,000 watt meltdowns.

But is there something in the works less than a full flip for Walker?

There has been speculation about a possible, partial, cut-Madison-from-the-rail-line/Walker-face-saving- 'deal' being bandied about for weeks, so despite statements from Walker about the train being dead in Wisconsin, and messages from the feds about quickly sending Wisconsin's high-speed rail funding to a more hospitable state, the final chapter in this messy political story has not yet been written.
