Dueling tweets suggest Evers energy, Walker fatigue

I'm looking at two tweets, over a two-hour period. Might just be a snapshot, but Evers' posting is getting a lot more attention.

And Walker's road sign could easily be a signal that we need to turn away from more bad policy, or fresh Scottholes.

*  First Walker:
If voters put Tony Evers in the driver’s seat for the state, watch as he takes the state backward to the days of double-digit tax increases, billion-dollar deficits, and record job loss.

* Meanwhile, this Evers Tweet and video is getting fewer replies (7), but more retweets (86) and likes (211) than is Walker's - - in the same time frame. Plus the video is hilarious.

    ICYMI: Yesterday, we drove 24 miles from Appleton to Green Bay to showcase Scott Walker’s abuse of the taxpayer funded state plane. From dodging “Scott-holes” to calls from special guests — it was quite the drive. Check out the highlights below ⬇️.

Do you remember back in 1992, when fresh-faced challenger Russ Feingold ran for senate against 2-term incumbent Robert Kasten? Feingold ran a series of TV ads in which he traveled across the state, pointing to his hand as Wisconsin, with his thumb out like Door County.

That’s what Evers’ video reminds me of. And it’s exactly what he needs to do to show that he is a positive alternative to the negative, mudslinging incumbent. Sometimes silliness works as a political tool. Let’s hope it works this time, as well.

Agree- the "Tony and Mandela show" comes off as 10 times more genuine than Greasy Grifter Walker and Oconomowoc Barbie.

I also noted thay Monday's "GO Brewers" tweets had Evers with a nice "Congrats to the Brewers" post, while Walker WAS SHOWING A BITMOJI OF HIMSELF.

Very telling. Gotta think many Wisconsinites are sick of Walker's self-centered, whiny BS.

I’m also very impressed that Evers is embracing the fact that his running mate is a young, intelligent, charismatic black man...and is appearing with him in even deeply “red” parts of the state.
