The DNR's Wolf Advisory Committee - - something of a misnomer as it is heavily-stacked with pro-hunting representatives, so perhaps it's the Wolf Hunt Advocacy Committee - - is meeting in Wausau today to make its 2014-'15 wolf kill quota recommendation.

Look for a number in the range of last year's number - - 251, as the committee, the hunting lobby and the DNR work together to more deeply 'harvest' the state's wolf population on behalf of some deer hunters, the politically-connected bear hounders and elk-hunters-in-waiting.
