The Walker Era, In One Sentence

The Journal Sentinel will boldface a timely, descriptive line or two clipped from a blog to post on the op-ed page; I was glad to see the paper take this line from a recent item of mine about GOP legislation that serves donors and special interests:

Special-interest legislating for donors became this administration's business-as-usual model when Gov. Walker, within days of taking office, prevailed on the Legislature to quickly approve a bill so one of his donors could fill a wetland near Lambeau Field for a developer before official reviews had been completed.

It is a good sentence. Too bad it doesn't read--yet--"Walker Era Ends With His Sentence."
