Charlie Sykes: My Case About Arctic Effects Heard Down Your Hall
Lead WTMJ talker Charlie Sykes ripped me for writing this Monday about the harsh temperatures sent our way from the Arctic by the Polar Vortex:
Arctic blasts could be linked to Arctic ice lossThe posting was based on scientific writing, along with links and a suggestion that the argument be considered, but Sykes mocked it from the ideological right, because, as he told one caller who chastised the mocking, "that's what I do."
So I was pleased to see towards the end of a Jim Stingl Journal Sentinel column today this line attributed to John Malan, the region's lead forecaster and WTMJ chief meteorologist:
"Actually, many scientists believe we will see more polar vortex breakdowns and cold blasts due to a warmer atmosphere and less arctic sea ice."

Boy, I guess those "latte-sipping liberals" are everywhere these days.
What do expect from Mr. Sykes. After all, he's a clown; everyone knows it.
Like Krusty.
Poor John Malan. The WTMJ shitstorm is about to land on his very bad rug.
