WEDC Home Page Carrying Multiple Scott Walker Promos

The Wisconsin Economic Development Commission dropped posting online a promotional video featuring Gov. Scott Walker after it got caught spending about $33,000 to insert Internet ads linked to it, like this - -

- - that were and continue as paid insertions in the Journal Sentinel's online NewsWatch feed.

Walker created and chairs the agency that replaced the Wisconsin Department of Commerce.

While the blatantly pro-Walker promotion video has been scrubbed of Walker's appearances, the Internet ads on jsonline.com are still take viewers to the WEDC home page laden with items that promote Walker.

Right now, every "NEWS IN WISCONSIN" and "PRESS RELEASES" reference Walker by name or title in the headline.

Does the first item really need seven mentions of "Walker"?

Does the four-paragraph release about a Waukesha business creating 72 jobs with a WEDC grant really need Walker's photo and his name in the caption?
