Big Win In WI To Slow Down Frac Sand Mining

Protection for an historic state waterway:

The Lower Wisconsin State Riverway Board voted to deny the permits for the Pattison sand frack sand mine near Bridgeport.
If we didn't have a politicized-bought-and-paid for DNR - - noted in The New Republic - - it wouldn't have been up to a local board's final vote to block the mine and save a river.
