Can't Buy Me Love...Or Some Elections

I suspect Mitt Romney, Karl Rove, Sheldon Adelson, the Koch Brothers and the other one-percenters felt a certain unfamiliar unease Tuesday night because their heavy spending didn't get them what they wanted.

Those folks are used to buying what they want - - companies, loyalties, candidates, candidacies - - whether on Wall Street, the international markets or through Citizen United loopholes.

Not Tuesday night.

Good-bye The Presidency, and about a billion bucks.

They got what they wanted in WI. A Republican legislature and governor. Brace yourselves for Right to work, mining legislation, and school reform in the form of vouchers. An end to the Wisconsin Retirement System and any local control over zoning or any other decision making. Wisconsin is open for business and the deal makers are not nice people. We must defeat Judge Roggensack if we want anything left from what WI was.

I forgot to add that we may even see attempts to pass legislation that takes away the popular vote for Senate and puts in back into the hands of the state legislatures.

I can't imagine Rove is taking Sheldon Adelson's calls right now.

ROI of 1%? That's some political genius there.

Doesn't it make you wonder what the real vote counts--in Wisconsin and nationally--would have been without the election fraud and voter suppression tactics of the Repubs?
Think to Karl Rove's reaction when the Fox News Decision Squad/Boiler Room/Think Cup called Ohio and thus the nation for Obama. He was genuinely confused. Because he knew there were mechanisms in place to change a few hundred votes here, eliminate a few hundred there, intimidate a couple of thousand here, disenfranchise a a few thousand there . . . etc.

WHADDYA MEAN, OBAMA WINS OHIO???????? THAT CAN'T BE HAPPENING!!!!!! OH NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I'M MELLLLLTINNNNG!!!!!!!!!

The True Vote Model forecast the TRUE VOTE as 55-45%. http://richardcharnin.wordpress.com/
