Jake formerly of the LP said...: Not a bad day, and both with significant shifts vs. what those districts did in Nov. 2010. And sure, some of that was due to the absurd candidates the GOP ran, but that's all they have left, because the sensible people can't win primaries any more in that party.

Now, let's not get overly excited and figure we got this. We gotta be much like the Brewers and just continue what we're doing, and if we do, and continue to work HARD at exposing this brutal agenda and the damage to local services, I think we'll be OK by Spring 2012.

Scotty's gotta be freaking tonight. An 8-10% swing means he is way done. And that's what a lot of these swings have been. We need to call him out on his "I want to now work together" lie every chance we get.; August 16, 2011 at 10:31 PM

Let's not forget that some of the districts have swung the opposite direction (ie Darling). She did better against Pasch than she did against Wasserman a few years back.; August 17, 2011 at 11:07 AM

Jake formerly of the LP said...: Actually Reagan's Fluffer should note that even Darling's district shifted toward the Dems vs. 2010 (not by much, about 1%).

And if he's comparing it to 2008 and figuring THAT'S going to be the voting environment in Walker's recall, well let's just say Gov. Feingold might need to start getting the ruler out on those curtains right now.

Even I'm not going that far (yet). But if the recall results hold for the state, Walker would lose by a good 5-7%.; August 17, 2011 at 8:37 PM
