One Thought About the DC Navy Yard Massacre...

What does it say about stationing gun-toting, good-guy guards, perhaps even retirees or volunteers, in schools if an armed bad guy bent on mayhem can blast his way into a high-security military base, then steal more weapons from disarmed guards to inflict greater mayhem?

The only solution is to ban all guns and tell everyone to be nice.

So the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is to have a good guy with a gun who can keep his gun from the bad guy ... thus enabling the bad guy to be badder.

I can wait to see the new NRA talking points.

Further demonstrates the point... Guns are not the problem, the individuals are.

Guns are the multiplier: they turn small problems into big problems, single murders into mass murders.

Has any one else noticed how useless the "well organized militia" of gun totin' vigilantes is when there's an actual bad guy doing something bad with his gun? Once the bad guy opens fire, it's usually too late. Here's one way to spot a bad guy: he's not a police officer or a soldier and he's carrying a gun. (OK, I'll except hunters, but people don't hunt in the city.)
