Wisconsin Will Begin Official Review Of Waukesha Application For Lake Michigan Water

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says it it will begin its multi-faceted reviews, with hearings ahead.

That piece of the process - - reviews, hearings -- will probably take a year.

There is a DNR website that explains the process.

Among the issues not yet resolved in the application deemed "sufficiently complete" - - does the Town of Waukesha want to remain in the plan, as proposed by the larger City?
