State Flips, Mercifully, And Supports Disease Prevention Grant Application

I am sure a lot of people pressured the state to reverse a Walker Administration Health [sic] Services Department crazy decision to block a grant application by Milwaukee and UW-Madison to the feds, and which would have actually led to increased preventable disease in Wisconsin if the funding were lost.

We did our share.

Though I'm guessing a lot of experts and doctors read the Walker crowd the riot act.

Could it be the old good guy bad guy posturing thing again?

After getting more details......???? Is this political gamesmanship or what or just an incompetent Governor with a naive health secretary with a political agenda at the helm.

What the heck is that all about. So looks like Smith has free reigns to kill any federal grants regardless of implications. What was the language he used? Something like, " aren't we doing that already?"
