Beating the heat and the I-94 death trap traffic

Let's circulate the taxpayer-and-special-interest-paid travels of GOP Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Robin Vos posted by One Wisconsin Now:
Speaker Robin Vos Shuts Down Assembly for His Summer Vacation(s)
One Wisconsin Now’s review of Vos’ 2019 calendar reveals he’s already visited New Orleans, Washington D.C., Quebec, Denver and Charleston this year.
Summer 2019 finds Vos blocking out time in August for out-of-state trips to Nashville, Tennessee and Denver, Colorado. He also has a quick jaunt to Sand Valley resort in Central Wisconsin lined up, courtesy of the Jobs First Coalition.
After a busy August, it’s off to Italy in September.... Rounding out the year, as the weather cools, Vos has trips to Florida, Hawaii and Texas listed on his schedule.
I have no complaint about the headline, though a few alternatives came to mind:

* Myth of the full-time legislator
* Drive the I-94 death trap (he helped get funded)? Are you crazy?

* What's Who's in your wallet?

You can pair that last one with an earlier post that makes the same point:
Assembly Speaker Robin Vos of Rochester has hired three former Walker officials to his staff and Rep. John Nygren of Marinette has taken on Walker’s former budget director.
Those new positions are adding more than $300,000 to the Assembly payroll, records show. In addition, Vos has given his chief of staff a 20 percent pay boost, bringing her salary to more than $120,000 a year.

I do not want to hear another politician complaining about teachers getting the summer off!
