Evers budget vetoes cannot block GOP goal of Mediocrity for All

There's only so much to be done through budget vetoes, so while Evers managed to add more money for education, and made other good changes, the state remains in the grip of a right-wing GOP-aligned State Supreme Court and Republican Legislative choke hold - -

- - continues to sacrifice boatloads of federal Medicaid dollars, fails to address perpetually-deferred road repairs, and keeps hazardous, tap water running in rural Wisconsin.

Without a fairly-apportioned Legislature freed of the Wisconsin GOP's especially-disgusting gerrymander, expect little broad progress which Evers' voters expected when they retired Walker to the rubber-chicken-paid-speaking circuit.
