Some live blogging election night
Waiting for Wisconsin results, but I'm so sorry to see Republican Mike Rounds win the US Senate seat vacated by retiring Democrat incumbent Senator Tim Johnson.
Illness, not politics, forced Johnson - - a bright, decent, humble man - - to give up his seat.
For Rounds, the race turned into a gimme because of the GOP advantage in registrations - - and even in the face of scandals that linger since Rounds' previous years as Governor.
So a loss for Democrats, nationally, and a loss for good government and bipartisanship in South Dakota.
