GOP AG Candidate Schimel's OWI Wimp-Out

So do we really want a Wisconsin Attorney General with a 'four-strikes-and-you're-out' philosophy?

First-offense-caught drunken driving is already but a mere ticket in our booze-troubled state, though it's a criminal misdemeanor in DC and all 49 other states.

But Brad Schimel, the Waukesha County DA and GOP candidate for Attorney General is ducking responsibility and leadership while looking for votes from alcohol servers and heavy-drinking customers with this weak-kneed stand on drunken driving:

"once you've gotten a fourth offense, every fourth offense should be a felony."

I wonder how many people have killed or inured themselves or others during the first, second or third OWI.

But 12-year-old mentally disturbed girls? Charge em like adults and lock em up!

What a sick tool. Bad enough he threw the Jensen case, but these two things are worse.
