Sheboygan considers golf course sweetheart annexation, 6/19

Friends of the Black River Forest, trying to save a Lake Michigan nature preserve 

from being  deforested, filled and graded for a golf course, sends this alert about the proposed annexation of the property to the City of Sheboygan that will repress local opposition and preservation activity in the Town of Wilson where the nature preserve is located:

The City of Sheboygan Common Council will have a council meeting open to public comment on the proposed annexation of 750 acres of the Town of Wilson and Kohler Andrae State Park.
The City of Sheboygan Plan Commission approved a change of zoning and annexation plan for Town of Wilson and state park land without discussion on May 30 and has sent their recommendations to the Common Council.
