During his self-serving and windy opening defense, Attorney General Jeff Sessions went off-topic to talk about rising overdose deaths and cited data reporting in The New York Times.

Not only has Sessions forgotten which Russians he met and where and why - - blaming Judiciary Committee member US Sen. Al Franken for bringing it up in "a rambling question - - he's forgotten that Trump repeatedly calls The New York Times "fake news" and a "failing" newspaper.
How did the Times turn that corner so fast?
