For your "Run gov't like a business file"
The next time you hear right-wing GOP Gov. Scott Walker, or his chamber-of-commere mentality, private-sector "best business practices" worshipper DNR Secretary Cathy Stepp,
or another of his trusty lieutenants mouth that Republican 'government-should-be-run-like-a-business'-talking point, ask them if that means businesses "like Promotions Unlimited" of Mount Pleasant, perhaps?
Though that language is at least a little more direct than the way Masonite explained why it was closing a plant in Algoma and laying off 180 workers:

...the closing of the plant, at 1001 Perry St., results from “the need to simplify the manufacturing footprint of our architectural door business and the overlap of the plant’s geographic service area with several of our other facilities.”On the other hand, look at the upside: Promotions Unlimited's closing surely forfeits its chances for nailing down some of those 'best business practices' state park naming rights that Walker and Stepp might be unveiling in the upcoming budget.

Can a bank do that without bouncing the checks? How do you reverse a check?
I would like Walker to tell me why my brother-in-law who lost his job after 30+ years when the Manitowoc Company closed it doors now has to pee in a cup and pound the pavement making cold calls 5 days a week looking for jobs that don't exist in Manitowoc. Walker keeps claiming that there are thousands of good paying jobs going unfilled because of a lack of skilled workers. Yet we've seen 1000 Oscar Meyer employees shown the door; nearly 600 at the Manitowoc Co. and 300+ at the Brillion Iron Works. Nothing from Walker and his Dept. of Work Force Development to retrain nearly 2000 available workers who want one of Walker's thousands of "good paying" jobs!
