AP story on job-poor WI overlooks Walker's six-year fail

Somehow the Associated Press manages to craft a very, very long story about rural Wisconsin voters looking for workforce and quality-of-life salvation from Donald Trump without mentioning the incumbent Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker's six-year job creating failure and 250,000 new-jobs-after-one-term-pledge declared broken by PolitiFact more than two years ago.

\Walker's Teflon is intact in part because some media give Walker such a huge pass and in this case, fail to find and quote anyone who remembers that Wisconsin in fact has a governor who made job growth his leading priority in three gubernatorial elections while presiding over an economy and a political environment without a spark.

In a state where Republicans - - the self-proclaimed party of business - - run all three branches of government and can't use a $66 billion bi-ennual budget to stimulate the economy. After six years!

If you Google "Wisconsin Job Creation," these are the first four hits. Come on, AP. you have to do better:

What water, wetland protection is all about

"A little fill here and there may seem to be nothing to become excited about. But one fill, though comparatively inconsequential, may lead to another, and another, and before long a great body may be eaten away until it may no longer exist. Our navigable waters are a precious natural heritage, once gone, they disappear forever," wrote the Wisconsin Supreme Court in its 1960 opinion resolving Hixon v. PSC and buttressing The Public Trust Doctrine, Article IX of the Wisconsin State Constitution.
