Jindal wanted climate change silence, feds paying the bill

Remember when then-GOP Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal in 2013 urged Republicans to quit being "the stupid party?"

So how ironic is it that Jindal asked President Obama not to mention climate change during a 2015 presidential visit to Louisiana, but today we learn that the federal government is about to spend nearly $50 million in a first-of-its-kind expenditure to move Louisiana citizens from low-lying areas where climate change is elevating sea levels and forcing them off their land.

Ironic, and stupid, and expensive, and for the Louisiana residents losing their homes and roots - - tragic.
