Ryan, On Sykes: Many Words, No Specifics

Paul Ryan rattled on for about ten minutes on AM 620 WTMJ's morning conservative radio chatfest, and even after host Charlie Sykes advised that Team Romney needed to do a better job explaining its fiscal plans, Ryan kept on stringing together talking points and speed-rapping Informercial style.

Have you ever been pitched by a high-pressure sales person for a mutual fund, a car, an insurance policy, and tried to track and retain all the jargon, claims and the competitors; flaws, etc?

That was Ryan on the Sykes show.

If they did explain their plan in detail, it would shortly be debunked, like all previous incarnations of their 'plan'. "Selling" this Thanksgiving special does require Ryan's fast-talking slicksterism and wide-eyed Boy Wonder faux sincerity. Too bad it was on radio--he wasn't able to mesmerize the audience with his zombie eyes.
