An Unhappy Tommy Is Not A Pretty Sight
Hat tip, Cory Liebmann:
The New York Times reported the following today:Tommy Thompson: "I don't need this"
Apparently Tommy Thompson is not having a good time on the campaign trail (to the extent that he is actually on it). The New York Times reported the following today:
“Mr. Thompson, usually gregarious, sounds anything but upbeat as he talks about his reason for running now. Is he having fun? No, he says twice. “I don’t need this,” he said.”

what he needs is a drink.
What he should do is, as a public service, close down his floundering campaign for Senate. It would be the honorable thing to do, Tommy.
So who said he had to spend his retirement years this way? Is the republican party so bereft of loyal hacks that he has to do triple duty? The lesser classes of Republican millionaires have to do all the work? Palli
Well Tommy, if you don't need this, then you don't deserve to have it. In fact, why the hell are you running for this anyway?
I think Tommy just gave the Dems a major opening with this. Let's see if they're smart enough to use it. I feel that a strong push right now would make Tommy and WisGOP say "screw it" and concentrate on other races.
This is so dang funny. Tommy contemplating giving up all those rich salaries from the boards he sits on is not a happy camper. I agree, he needs a drink.
Happy or unhappy, Tommy is not a pretty sight.
