Town Of Waukesha Holding Emergency Water Policy Meeting

The Town of Waukesha is under the gun to decide whether to join the City of Waukesha's application for a Lake Michigan diversion, and has scheduled an emergency meeting today about it, according to the Waukesha Patch.

The Town needs to act, one way or the other, in the wake of the City's letter of intent to buy the diverted water from Oak Creek - - though that deal is on hold.

I'm not so sure their 30 day clock with the DNR has started.

Until the Oak Creek water utility manager signs the agreement, Waukesha technically has not identified a supplier. As of now, one party is not agreeing to be said supplier.
