Johnson's Inexperience Should Rule him Out
So we learn in the Feingold/Johnson debate that the incumbent, Russ Feingold has taken hard decisions and made tough votes - - "yes" on health care, for example, and defends the vote - - while his opponent, Ron Johnson has some beliefs, but no record.
OK, you say. That can be how a challenger behaves, but surely he's in the race because his beliefs are strong.
But we learned after the debate that Johnson is already amending his position on the health care bill; now it's not the worst thing ever - - it can be changed incrementally.
We also saw this pattern when Johnson was against selling his BP stock - - before he sold it, and for drilling for oil in the Great Lakes before he was against it.
So even Johnson's beliefs are flexible, apparently, and subject to quick, convenient mutation - - as in, 'I'm opposed to government-run health care, except when I get some prisoner labor and those workers' health care is picked up by the government'.
in this odd political year, inexperience is a touted as a virtue, but in what other important job would you choose inexperience and indecision
Brain surgery?
Auto mechanics?
Bridge design?
Mortgage lending?
Baby sitting?

I think that Feingold's defense of the health care bill will be a big plus with the swing voters.
What I hope is that all the health insurance companies and their getting out of markets because of their size or because of the new regulations will remind people how bad the coverage is getting with those guys and will give Feingold some credit in the voting booth.
I also hope that this recent fire in Tennessee gets some legs as an example of where we are headed with Republican policies and the relationship of that fire to how the Republicans want to do health care.
We should make a big deal about this Tennessee house fire and keep up the pressure on the Republicans to show that they are headed in the wrong direction with their polices.
We should use those firefighters standing there - because of orders from the superiors - watching that house burn as hospitals having to watch patients die as there insurance masters refuse to pay, the mentally ill living on street corners, police protection that is based on fees - all those services that we need.

Did you notice rojo said we should only go to war when there's a "clear and present danger," i.e. an imminent threat? Not even Bush claimed that existed before the Iraq war began.
What other important job would I chose inexperience and indecision? At the top of the list for liberals seems to be President Of The United States of America.
That you would be citing Johnson lack of experience as a dis-qualifier is laughable consider the doofus you have foisted upon as the POTUS.
Obama served in the Illinois legislature and the US Senate. Johnson brags about have no experience.
