What do you mean by that and what exactly are we headed from?

In the U.S., at a minimum we have been in a condition of political oligarchy for generations now with the Republicans and Democratics in control.

What about the tsunami of corporate, financial sector, legal firm, and George Soros money that poured into the Democratic coffers for the 2008 elections, how was that different?
