As someone who grew up in Appleton and read the APC for almost 30 years, it is truly sad what has become of a paper that was previously mediocre at best and is now simply pathetic.

Side note - the dead-trees of NE Wisconsin (Appleton, Green Bay, Oshkosh, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc, Sheboygan, Wausau, Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids, Marshfield) are all owned by Gannet, ie USA Today.

So guess where all of those endorsements decisions are being made.
