Go Fish? Ron Johnson Backed Easing Power Plant Polllutant Emissions
Hard to imagine a Senator representing Great Lakes anglers backing a plan pushed by energy-resource states to tie the US EPA's hands and let more coal pollutants fall into the air and water, - - and isn't our air quality bad enough as it stands now? - - but that's where our Ron Johnson cast his losing vote last month.
As Gary Wilson of the Great Lakes Echo project wrote:
Wisconsin’s Johnson also voted for Inhofe’s proposal, which is really tough to understand. Mercury bio-accumulates in the fatty tissue of fish and if there is a state that loves to fish it’s Wisconsin.More on whom Johnson does not support.
What does Johnson’s vote say to the Badger state’s 1.4 million licensed anglers?
Neither Portman’s nor Johnson’s office responded to a request for comment.
But the NRDC did.
