Trump and a Canadian baseball team have a lot in common

GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump and the Toronto Blue Jays are both on the brink of elimination, and, like Trump, the Jays see a conspiracy afoot to deny them a win.

The ball club's leading conspiracy theorist is nicknamed "Bats," while Trump is just plain batty.

Admittedly, the analogy is a little shaky, because Trump isn't usually this aligned with foreigners who aren't named Putin or Assange.

The circle will be complete if Cleveland closes out the American League championship series and can win the World Series, with Hillary taking Ohio, and the presidency.

Something of a win-win for the people and the American pastime.
