Business Leader Survey Shows Little Interest In Concealed Carry

What a buncha wimps. Don't they appreciate all the careful work that legislative Republicans have been putting in these past few weeks to make the 2nd amendment even more realer [homage to Roundy Coughlin. Google him.]?

"The Senate approved a law Tuesday night that will give an incentive to employers who permit their employees to carry concealed weapons at work. An employer who does not prohibit its employees from carrying concealed weapons will be given immunity from any lawsuits for any liability arising from that decision."

... is that because the Senate is offering to accept liability in their stead? Seriously... who do I obtain restitution from if my co-worker Columbine's the place? I certainly won't have Medicaid to pay for my hospital bills, with things going the way they are.

God-forbid. And, there is nothing funny about school shootings. I am just shocked that our Senators think we need concealed weapons at our place of work in this day and age when I can't bring 5 ounces of liquid makeup on a plane (why I would need that much makeup, I don't know, but let's just suppose) because crazies are shooting Senators and hijacking planes.

That's a rhetorical question, I presume. Obviously, the customer assumes the risk. Likewise for any passers-by who get caught in the crossfire.

Personally, I'd be a little nervous about going into a business where I knew random employees were packing heat, and I suspect other people might feel the same way. That might offset the "incentive" effect of a liability exemption.
