Randy Hopper (R) Website Still Lauds Jim Doyle (D), Wind Turbines

State Sen. Randy Hopper, (R-Fond du Lac) - - busy fending off a mounting recall effort - - must be too busy these days to update his website, and either keep active a link to media reporting about a local wind turbine manufacturer that received a state grant from Jim Doyle, or be a good Walker lackey and delete the entry altogether.

The link goes nowhere, but this is how the Hopper site touts the December, 2009 Doyle grant - - obviously awarded before Scott Walker to moved to damage this budding manufacturing industry statewide, restrict land owners' property rights and freedoms and severely limit wind turbine siting in Wisconsin.

Renewegy gets $525,000 loan from state

Renewegy Inc. has sold its first eight wind turbines and its plans to ramp up manufacturing in 2010 earned the Oshkosh company recognition and financial support from Gov. Jim Doyle on Thursday. Doyle announced Renewegy would receive a $525,000 low-interest loan to help it purchase manufacturing equipment and create 40 jobs in the state's growing renewable energy industry.

I think the fact that he no longer lives in his district and is instead living in Madison with his mistress (a lobbyist for the aptly named Persuasion Partners) probably makes it hard for Hopper to keep up with what's going on in his neck of the woods.
