Major WI Conservation Group Drops Bomb On Mine Law, Mine's Future

You cannot over-estimate the significance of this mainstream organization's move:

A leading Wisconsin conservation group is calling for state lawmakers to repeal the law designed to smooth the way for an iron mine in the Penokee Hills.
In a statement Monday, the Wisconsin Wildlife Federation said taxpayers could spend millions of extra dollars and wait years longer than expected before seeing any of the jobs promised by the northern Wisconsin mine.
And as long as we're working with the 'dropping' metaphor, the US Army Corps of Engineers set this in motion with the dime it dropped on the state's horrendous, mining-company written law in the first place.

Too bad the Wisconsin Wildlife Federation is nothing more than a hunting club rather than a true "conservation" organization. While George Meyer is on the right side of this issue always be on the lookout for ulterior motives from this guy and his wildlife killing cartel.
