Leading Wisconsin Conservatives Agree: State Republican Legislators Are "Stupid"

Having watched key Republicans perform badly and hypocritically at the State Capitol recently, who's publicly labeled that behavior "stupid," and even worse?

About wasteful special-interest giveaway budgeting: State Senate President Mike Ellis, (R-Appleton).

About "conning" voters with an "obnoxious" plan to run fake recall election candidates: Milwaukee talk radio show host: Mark Belling.

Who am I to argue with these experts?

Your rant about the primary challenges would sound a lot more evenhanded if you were also calling out the perfidy of the GAB in somehow certifying all the Republicans for recall but just not being able to do the same for the Democrats. As it is, unlike Belling and Ellis, your partisan agenda trumps your integrity. Not that this is particularly surprising, mind you.

As I have before, my understanding is that the grounds upon which the Democrats are filing are different that those which the Republicans tried.

The perfidy is in suggesting that the GAN is partisan, when it is run by a board of non-partisan retired judges.

I meant to write, "As I have said before..."

How convenient for you that your understanding of the issue dovetails so neatly with what is best for Democrats. At least Belling and Ellis have a moral compass that allows them to be critical of actions taken by their erstwhile allies. Advantage: Belling/Ellis.

It's a hoot being lectured about moral compasses - - by someone with a grandiose anonymous screen name.

I write under my own name and take the shots.

You do not.

It is in your interests to be very public with your views--you make your living being a political figure. Do you think liberals...er I mean "progressives" who use screen names are devoid of a moral compass also? Or does that apply only to people you disagree with?

Oh, and thanks for the grandiose compliment on the screen name. The obviousness of your pique with it makes my day. So I will wish you a pleasant day also.

You are the one making the judgement. Own your inconsistency.

I'm sure somewhere in your last comment is a coherent thought trying to break through to the light of day, but to honest I have no idea of what you are trying to say. Wanna try again, or shall we part ways with each of us content: you being satisfied that you really gave it to that troglodyte who bitterly clings to his guns and religion, and me amused that your encounter with someone outside your govenment-funded liberal bubble ended with solipsistic gibberish?

Nae. This is just the way I always speak or write; which is quite amazing considering that I graduated from a public school!

My, but you do have a habit of never engaging with the proposition at hand, but instead resorting to petty insults, don't you?

So, here's another question for you to duck: When Gabrielle Giffords was shot by someone who turned out to be a nutcase with no identifiable or consistent political views (and if anything was more sympathetic with liberals than conservatives), your ideological fellow-travelers blamed the incediary rhetoric of the Tea Party. When some nutjob clearly feeding on the incediary rhetoric of WEAC and the other socialists who caused much damage to our Capitol sent death threats to Republicans I didn't hear any lefties call for toning down the rhetoric on the Left. Did I miss something there? The liberal position on free speech these days seems to be,"Free speech for me, but none for thee!"

Here's another chance for you to distinguish yourself from the crass thugs who share your ideology: When Governor Walker was meeting with the Special Olympiads yesterday, a bunch of thugs came and disrupted the event. The Special Olympiads, you may recall, are the people President Obama made fun of after his poor showing at bowling. Many of them come from what Al Gore called,"The extra chromosome wing of the Republican Party."

Would you care to denounce these tactics as stupid, rude and obnoxious? Or at the very least, hurtful to your cause, like Weinergate? Just askin...
