Wisconsin Club For Growth, Wisconsin GOP Need To Get Their Stories Straight
Chuckle of the day:
From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel June 7, about State Republican Senators facing recall elections:
Meanwhile, the top Senate Republican said Tuesday that all GOP recall targets were familiar with the plan to delay the recall elections by fielding fake Democrats in primaries. Earlier, some of those recall targets claimed they didn't know about the plan. From the Wisconsin Club For Growth e-newsletter of June 8, this description of the same Senate Republicans facing recalls:
"The Republican Senators who performed with integrity in the face of rabid opposition..."Maybe we'll let Mark Belling be the arbiter of who's acting with integrity.
In the second part of hour two of yesterday's show, Belling calls the GOP plan "obnoxious," and "stupid," and "cynical," and "childish," and "conning people."
A plan conceived by "jackasses."
Even louder: "They need to drop this."
And "Stop being so stupid!"
He wants Gov. Walker to step in and stop it.
Fat chance.

Never has Belling been so . . . . brilliant. I can't believe I just wrote that.
Like a child caught with his hand in the cookie jar who explains that he wasn't taking a cookie, he was just checking to see if there were any cookies in the jar, the state GOP got caught plotting to manipulate the recall elections, and now claims the plan is all above board and is proceeding with the plan.
Now that everyone knows what they were trying to pull. Most Wisconsinites have a fine-tuned sense of fairness, so good luck with your dirty tricks.
