Another Vos blunder, and he'd just played his evasion card
Vos is again living out the adage that people are their own worst enemies.
The inveterately arrogant Vos and his co-public records' obstructionist John Nygren just cost state taxpayers $200,000, but they can't fall back on the 'my enemies are making me look bad' defense because he already clumsily played that card a few hours earlier when losing the fight he block-headily picked with the wheelchair-bound State Rep. Jimmy Anderson.
At this point, a real leader would take ownership of his own blunder and pay the forfeiture himself - - you know, good GOP personal responsibility come to life - - but since I said "a real leader," and not "Robin Vos," look to Vos to stick taxpayers with the bill, or perhaps have some generous donors pick up the tab.
We'll be watching.
