Another Romney/Walker/1% Donors' Similarity

I noticed the other day that both Mitt Romney and Scott Walker had recent memory lapses when it came to the particulars of episodes generating negative media.

For Romney, it was the blank he drew after others recalled his leading a pack of high schoolers who attacked another student, pinned him to the ground and chopped at his hair with scissors wielded by Romney himself.

For Walker, it was an inability to recall the details of the chit-chat he had with a billionaire from Beloit about anti-labor legislative strategies.

And remember when Mitt Romney tried to be Cool Guy NASCAR Fan, but stumbled with the blue-collar folks he was courting when he said, 'yeah, I know a bunch of owners?

Turns out some of those friends of Romney's in sports management are donors, too.

So hat tip to Journal Sentinel sports columnist Bob Wolfley for digging through Walker's donor list and finding all the sports/owner types who have written big checks for Walker's recall campaign defense.

Owners of a feather...
